• dropper bottle with isopropyl alcohol
• paper towels
• 4-5 Q-tips
• safety gloves for each student
• stopwatch, smartphone timer or watch timer

The teacher needs:

• projector and whiteboard/blackboard/chart paper for recording student ideas
