How Sweet Are You? Engineering Smarter Solutions for Diabetes with Data-Driven AI

For premade solutions:
- 8 plastic cups
- 1 150 mL graduated cylinder
- 1800 mL of distilled water
- stirring rod
- glucose powder
- 2 tbsp. of white sugar
- full sugar/calorie soda (e.g., Coca Cola or Pepsi)
- sports drink (e.g., Gatorade)
- 2 tbsp. of artificial sweetener (e.g., Stevia)
- masking tape (for labeling cups)
- marker (to label cups)
For each group:
- 1 laptop or device with internet access
- access to premade solutions
- 1 pair of plastic gloves or clothespin to handle the glucose testing strips
- 10 glucose test paper strips (Note: These strips can be cut in half to make more strips.)
