- notebook paper, 8.5 x 11-inch size
- 10 paperclips
- pencil
- ruler
- scissors
- Helicopter Instructions Diagram, one per group
- Heavy Helicopters Worksheet, one per student
- measuring tape
- stopwatch, such as smartphone or online stopwatch
