Strawkets and Thrust

Each student needs:

• 1 piece of letter-sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches), cut in half, resulting in 2 half-sized pieces each measuring 8.5 × 5.5 inches
• 1 pencil
• 1 drinking straw
• 1 cotton ball
• Thrust Quiz (PDF)
• Thrust Analysis Worksheet (PDF)
• Results from the Earth Math Sheet (PDF) or Results from the Earth Math Sheet (PDF) 

For the entire class to share:

• target pictures of each of the nine planets: Inner Planets Target (PDF) and Outer Planets Target (PDF)
• cellophane tape provided in several dispensers
• tape or string, to mark a starting line
