Each group needs:

• 2-in x 4-in wooden board, 4 feet long
• 2 analog bathroom scales (not digital)
• 2 wooden blocks of the same thickness, each about 6-inches long
• ruler or yardstick
• masking tape
• graph paper
• (optional) Microsoft Excel and computer
