Energy Engineers focus on improving energy efficiency and management. Evaluating energy consumption is a key step engineers take when creating products and processes to conserve energy. Engineers determine how to effectively capture and release energy in forms that are most useful to do work, which can sometimes be accomplished by recovering energy that is lost through inefficient energy conversions.
