Propose a hands-on K-2 Curriculum for Publication

TeachEngineering invites you to propose an original, hands-on Grade K-2 activity that aligns to specific engineering-focused NGSS Performance Expectations. Your creative STEM activity could enrich our free engineering collection that reaches over 3.6 million educators annually. We look forward to your imaginative ideas!

Compensation:
  • Authors of complete and thorough proposals will receive a $25 Amazon gift card, regardless if their proposal is chosen to move forward to publication.
  • Authors whose curriculum proposal(s) are accepted by TeachEngineering, and who create, write, test and take their curriculum to publication will receive $500.
Step 1: Identify the specific engineering-focused NGSS Performance Expectations that your curriculum will align to

Below are flyers stating the specific engineering-focused NGSS Performance Expectations TeachEngineering is soliciting curriculum to be aligned to.

Step 2: Fill out a curriculum proposal for Grade(s) K, 1 or 2

Completely fill out a proposal outlining your proposed curriculum and your timeline for testing your curriculum.

Step 3: Save and email proposal

Save your complete curriculum proposal as a Word document and email it to te-publish@colorado.edu

Step 4: TeachEngineering editors will assess proposed curricula and reach out to all proposal authors

This is a rolling call for K-2 curriculum (e.g., there is no specific deadline for proposal submission). However, TeachEngineering will close this call for K-2 curriculum when we have received enough submissions to fill this gap in our standards.

Free K-12 standards-aligned STEM curriculum for educators everywhere.
