TeachEngineering Digital Library Terms of Use

This web-based digital library was developed by the TeachEngineering digital library team, with partial funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation. Initial development partners (affiliates) include the University of Colorado at Boulder; Colorado School of Mines, Duke University, Oregon State University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Any views expressed in this website do not necessarily reflect the views of TeachEngineering sponsors or affiliates.

We encourage wide-spread use of TeachEngineering content by "Academic Users" (individual educators and K-12 organizations, including government agencies using the TeachEngineering digital library on a nonprofit, non-commercial, internal basis solely for use by their own employees, for such employees' training, research, curriculum development and teaching purposes). Such Academic Users may use the TeachEngineering digital library on an internal basis without any fee or cost, to access, link to and use, or in any manner alter, modify, revise, copy, edit, translate or digitize TeachEngineering digital library collection content.

TeachEngineering may not be used for any direct or indirect commercial purpose or advantage, or for any distribution outside the Academic User's organization.

Any copyright notice contained in the TeachEngineering digital library collection content or in any other part of this website shall remain intact and unaltered and shall be affixed to any use or copy of all or any such part of this collection. Prior authorization must be obtained from the TE team before any use is made of the digital library other than what is described in the second paragraph above, especially if the use is for commercial purposes. Prior authorization must be obtained by all other users.

The name TeachEngineering may not be used in any advertising or publicity to endorse or promote any products or commercial entity unless specific written permission is obtained from TeachEngineering.
